Director & Founder

Neil Moodie

Neil Moodie is one of the UK’s most successful and respected hairstylists, who has been a leading figure in the fashion/beauty industry for over three decades. His work has graced the cover of over 50 Vogue magazines and he is a favourite for many leading ladies including Gemma Chan, Cara Delevingne, Nicola Coughlan, Felicity Jones and Sonam Kapoor. Neil has also been the ambassador of numerous product lines including Aveda and Bumble & Bumble, plus he was the co-founder of hair brand Windle and Moodie formed in 2008 before resigning in 2018.

He is currently UK & I Ambassador for Pureology

Studio Manager

Jarnelle Thomas 

Jarnelle started her journey into the creative world of hairdressing at the tender age of 14, working her way up through the ranks as a stylist and colour technician.

After 20 years Jarnelle reached her goal of becoming a busy established hairdresser in Mayfair. At this point she wanted to explore all aspects of the hairdressing world, so she took on the task of managing the reception team at a reputable salon in Central London.

Jarnelle joined the Neil Moodie Studio team as salon manager in March 2023. She is also our perming specialist. 

Creative Director

Cat Hindle 

Born in the Netherlands and raised near Reading, England, Cat embarked on her hairdressing journey at the age of 15.  In 2012, she made the significant move to London, fully immersing herself in the world of fashion shows and photoshoots. She has lent her expertise as an assistant on notable shows like Mulberry, Paul & Joe, and Edward Crutchley.

The salon is where Cat truly thrives, feeling most at home. She takes immense pleasure in forging connections with her clients, guiding them through the entire hair transformation process to achieve their ultimate hair goals.

Cat's passion for hairdressing knows no bounds; whether it's cutting, colouring, or styling, she revels in the daily diversity it offers. Beyond the salon, she finds joy in traveling, whipping up culinary delights, pursuing her love for running, exploring art galleries, and indulging in social activities.

Creative Art Director/Colourist

Luke Tyrrell

Luke is one of our independent artists who joined the team in May 2023. He moved to London in 2018 and his dedication to his craft helped him explore many avenues of the hair industry. After his time as a L’Oreal ID Artist, Luke developed a tenacious passion for creative education and has worked on many colour campaign shoots and educated on stages nationally.

He is an in-demand Colour Specialist renowned for his ability to blend creative and natural colour placement techniques to achieve stunning bespoke results.

With a background in Fine Art, his innate understanding of colour enables him to breathe life into every shade he creates.

Creative Stylist

Molly Newell

Molly's journey in the world of hair began in 2017 as she embarked on her training at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon. After successfully completing her training in 2022, she set out on a captivating travel adventure, only to return to the UK with an even greater passion for expanding her skills in the realm of hair. Molly has recently become a valued member of our team, where her enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on the latest techniques and trends is truly inspiring. As a junior stylist, her unwavering motivation is rooted in ensuring the absolute satisfaction of every client she works with. Molly's precision cutting expertise shines, and she has a particular affinity for working with texture and various hair types, adding a unique touch to each client's style.

Senior Colourist

NIna Brown

Nina Trained at Vidal Sassoon as a colour specialist, honing her skills in creating effortless, low-maintenance blondes and styling for blow-dries and updos.

With a passion for making clients feel their best, she recently expanded into session work, assisting at fashion weeks and shoots. Her work has been featured in Vogue Portugal and Roll Up Magazine.

Brixton Cowie

Brixton was born and raised in New Zealand. Growing up by the beach, he was always fascinated by how the sea enhanced the hairs natural texture and colour. Something which has translated into Brixton’s hairdressing today.

 

A talented stylist and teacher of the next generation of talent, Brixton loves to create tailored effortless wash and wear looks that work with the clients natural texture. When not in the studio Brixton is often found on editorial shoots or backstage at fashion weeks, where he has worked with the likes of Tim Walker, Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Balenciaga. 

Senior Creative Director

Valentina Ingrosso

Valentina moved to London from Italy in 2010, where her career has seen her be part of teams for London Fashion Week, and the British Independent Awards. She also assists in editorial shoots for some of the world’s most prestigious magazines, including Vogue Italy, Dazed, Numero Berlin and Arena Homme.

 

Hairdressing has always been Valentina’s passion, something she inherited from her mum. She loves to celebrate natural beauty and is an expert with all hair types; but having curly hair herself has provided her with even more specialist skills in that area. She was also named one of the 22 best wedding hair and make - up artists in the UK by Harper’s Bazaar in 2022. Valentina believes that, “everyone can have amazing hair. You just need the right haircut, style and products.”

Creative Colourist/Stylist

Alessio Bonamano

Born near Rome and based in London since 2012, Alessio blends Italian artistry with London style to highlight each client’s natural beauty.

With a background in visual arts, he specialises in creative colour and effortless looks, tailored to clients’ features and lifestyles.

Alessio’s experience spans assisting on editorial shoots for Harper’s Bazaar Italy and Tatler UK plus backstage work at London Fashion Week.

For him, hair is a frame for self-expression, and he’s committed to helping clients look and feel their best.

Creative Director 

Tim Crespin

A global hair stylist, with over 25 years experience, Tim has lived and worked mainly in NYC and London. Renowned for his creativity as a freelance session hair stylist Tim has travelled the world, working extensively with prestigious photographers for luxury fashion and lifestyle brands, international magazines and advertising campaigns. He has worked with famous celebrities including Marisa Berenson, Heidi Klum and Millie Mackintosh. Tim now likes to divide his time between shoots and the salon.

Junior Stylist

Harrison Keeble

Harrison is the newest and youngest member of our styling team. born into a family of award winning hairdressers hailing from Essex.

His passion for hairdressing ignited while modelling for the L'oreal Colour trophy, where he witnessed the artistry and emotion of the craft.

He began his training in 2019, honing his skills under Sassoon educators, and is two time NHF Teenage Hairdresser of the Year.

Now at Neil Moodie Studio, Harrison is dedicated to

absorbing knowledge from our strong creative team and mastering the Neil Moodie approach to hairdressing. He thrives on challenges, values consultations as the key to great results, and draws inspiration from street style and real life trends. 

Creative Colourist

Lorraine Massarella

Lorraine began her hairdressing career at 16 in London's Soho, honing her skills over a decade at Toni and Guy as a talented colourist.

She furthered her expertise by completing the L’Oréal Colour Specialist degree, with a special focus on crafting beautiful highlights whilst maintaining hair's integrity.

Following a salon hiatus, where she took some time out to raise her children, she is now back to bring her passion for hair to her clients once again, joining the NMS team, part time, in February 2024.

Outside the salon, Lorraine's a dedicated mother of two teenagers, finding joy in running and various fitness activities.

Senior Art Director

Elpis Tampakakis

Elpis, a highly adept hairstylist, possesses outstanding technical expertise. Commencing his career in his homeland of Greece, he later transitioned to London, honing his skills in renowned West End salons, including the iconic Vidal Sassoon.

His passion for session work blossomed during this time also.

Elpis is devoted to showcasing and enhancing a client's personality through their hair, inspired by his love for pop culture and fashion.

Art Director

Daniel Moura

Hailing from Portugal, Daniel has worked in hairdressing in the UK since 2012. Since moving to London he has worked in Central London salons and was twice a finalist in the Schwarzkopf young artistic team. 

He now splits his time assisting on fashion shoots, campaigns and shows around the world as well as doing his own shoots too.  When in the NM Studio Daniel creates modern, precision haircuts and loves colouring hair to complement his cuts.

He was formerly the 1st assistant to Neil Moodie. 

Art Director

James Bickmore

James is a renowned session artist. Not only has he styled and worked his magic on celebrity artists such as Camilla Cabello, but James can also be found working with noteworthy designers at Fashion Week and collaborating with industry experts creating fashion and editorial campaigns.

He has a flair for precision cutting, which includes all types of male grooming and fashion-forward styling and specialises in beautiful and effortless finishes. James’s clients really can’t get enough of his professionalism and undeniable sense of style.

Luxury Manicurist/Pedicurist

Jada Ellize

After graduating from the London College of Beauty, Jada Elize set up Nail Street, a pop-up nail art studio. She worked at Harrods and Michael John's Mayfair salon, learning the art of luxury manicures and co-founded the first manicure on-demand app to launch in London, GlossPod, which went on to perform the first manicure treatments on an airline.

 

Now represented as a session manicurist at Premier Hair, Make-Up and Beauty,  Jada has worked with clients such as Anna Wintour, Naomi Campbell and Emili Sande. Her work has appeared on the runways of Moschino, and in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, and Wonderland. She specialises in nail art,  intricate designs, natural nail care, and gel nail extensions.
