Neil Moodie
Neil Moodie is one of the UK’s most successful and respected hairstylists, who has been a leading figure in the fashion/beauty industry for over three decades. His work has graced the cover of over 50 Vogue magazines and he is a favourite for many leading ladies including Gemma Chan, Cara Delevingne, Nicola Coughlan, Felicity Jones and Sonam Kapoor. Neil has also been the ambassador of numerous product lines including Aveda and Bumble & Bumble, plus he was the co-founder of hair brand Windle and Moodie formed in 2008 before resigning in 2018. He is currently UK & I Ambassador for Pureology
Studio Manager
Jarnelle Thomas
Jarnelle started her journey into the creative world of hairdressing at the tender age of 14, working her way up through the ranks as a stylist and colour technician.
After 20 years Jarnelle reached her goal of becoming a busy established hairdresser in Mayfair. At this point she wanted to explore all aspects of the hairdressing world, so she took on the task of managing the reception team at a reputable salon in Central London.
Jarnelle joined the Neil Moodie Studio team as salon manager in March 2023. She is also our perming specialist.
Creative Director
Cat Hindle
PLEASE NOTE: Cat has now returned from maternity leave and will be working every Saturday from August 16th 2025.
Born in the Netherlands and raised in England, Cat embarked on her hairdressing journey at the age of 15. In 2012, she made the significant move to London, fully immersing herself in the world of fashion shows and photoshoots. She has lent her expertise as an assistant on notable shows like Mulberry, Paul & Joe, and Edward Crutchley.
The salon is where Cat truly thrives, feeling most at home. She takes immense pleasure in forging connections with her clients, guiding them through the entire hair transformation process to achieve their ultimate hair goals.
Cat's passion for hairdressing knows no bounds; whether it's cutting, colouring, or styling, she revels in the daily diversity it offers. Beyond the salon, she finds joy in traveling, whipping up culinary delights, pursuing her love for running, exploring art galleries, and indulging in social activities.
Director Colourist/Stylist
Clare Halford ( Red Clare)
“Red Clare” as she is known to her clients is an experienced hair artist with over 20 years of salon ownership under her belt. After running her own salon, she joined Not Another Salon in London but after closing, she now calls NMS her new creative hair home. She specialises in all things colour — from precision foiling to expert scalp bleaching — and is especially passionate about big transformations, whether it’s a bold new look or a major colour correction. She also brings a love of cutting to every service, ensuring each client leaves with a cut and/or colour that feels uniquely their own.
Art Director
Daniel moura
With over 12 years of experience working in fashion and fashion shows across New York, London, Milan, and Paris, Daniel has worked on prestigious shows for brands such as Balenciaga, Hermès, Saint Laurent, McQueen, Givenchy, Bottega Veneta, and many others, with fashion campaigns and commercial campaigns.
In addition to fashion work, Daniel has worked with Schwarzkopf on global campaigns. He also played a pivotal role in rebranding a major global brand as a 1st assistant, refreshing its image to appeal to a modern audience. Daniel’s international experience and innovative contributions reflect his passion for the world of fashion and beauty.
He was formally 1st assistant to Neil Moodie also.
Senior Stylist/Colourist
Laurence Chen
Born in Australia, and with years of experience in London, and Iceland, Laurence has worked with top salons including Stelio Papas, Toni & Guy, and Pimps & Pinups. A former Art Director at Toni & Guy Sydney, and Toni And Guy Sloane Square, Laurence has styled for fashion shows, fashion weeks, music videos, and weddings. Specialising in cool, contemporary cuts and colours, their signature style is sexy, effortless, and trend-focused.
Senior Colourist
Nicola Bobin
London-born but raised in Hertfordshire, Nicola is a talented, versatile colour specialist and the newest member of the NMS team. She began her hairdressing journey in 2017 at the Aveda flagship in Covent Garden, where she discovered her passion for colour. Since then, she has refined her craft across a wide range of techniques — from soft balayage to vibrant coppers and reds — and is especially known for her seamless approach to blending grey hair beautifully.
Nicola loves building genuine connections with clients and helping them look and feel their best. Outside the salon, she’s an avid reader, painter, devoted dog lover (even without one of her own), and always planning her next solo adventure.
Creative Director
Tim Crespin
A global hair stylist, with over 25 years experience, Tim has lived and worked mainly in NYC and London. Renowned for his creativity as a freelance session hair stylist Tim has travelled the world, working extensively with prestigious photographers for luxury fashion and lifestyle brands, international magazines and advertising campaigns. He has worked with famous celebrities including Marisa Berenson, Heidi Klum and Millie Mackintosh. Tim now likes to divide his time between shoots and the salon.
Senior Colourist/Stylist
Deborah Cuccuru
Originally from Italy and now based in London, Deborah is a highly skilled hairstylist with over 11 years of experience in the industry. Specialising in colour services — particularly balayage and bleach work — She is passionate about enhancing natural beauty, with a special talent for working with fine hair to create effortlessly modern, personalised looks.
Her services also include women’s haircuts, keratin treatments, and her signature “Bundt Blow Dry” — a soft, voluminous finish inspired by '90s glamour with a fresh, contemporary edge. Her favourite cut is the precision bob — clean, chic, and empowering.
In addition to her work behind the chair, Debby is currently studying Fashion Design at VCAD, continually feeding her creativity and keeping her perspective on beauty forward-thinking. Her approach is grounded in authenticity, with the goal of helping every client feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.
Colourist/Stylist
Melissa Reilly
Originally from Glasgow, Melissa began her hairdressing career at 19 through a traditional apprenticeship. After moving to London in 2022, she joined the Not Another Salon adult retraining programme to refine her skills and expand her creative range.
thrives on variety, working across a wide spectrum of styles — from vivid creative colours to natural tones, scalp bleaches, and precision cutting. Her work is bold, expressive, and always tailored to the individuality of each client. Known for her fun, fearless approach (and a well-known love for the colour pink), Melissa brings both skill a fearless energy and personality to everything she does.
A finalist for Creative Head’s Rising Star, Melissa has also presented on stage at Salon International for Procare Foil.

Art Director
James Bickmore
James is currently on a 2 month break from the studio, and will be returning in March 2022.
renowned session artist, James has not only styled and worked his magic on celebrity artists such as Camilla Cabello and Myles Smith, but he can also be found working with noteworthy designers at Fashion Week and collaborating with industry experts creating fashion and editorial campaigns.
He has a flair for precision cutting and barbering which includes all types of male grooming, fashion-forward styling and he specialises in beautiful and effortless finishes. James’s clients really can’t get enough of his professionalism and undeniable sense of style.
