Milan Fashion Week AW2026 explored contrast through restraint and character. While some houses
leaned into understated, controlled shapes, others embraced individuality and expressive styling.
Across the shows, hair balanced polish with imperfection, allowing natural movement and
personality to shape each look.

Prada
At Prada, hair was pulled into low, textured ponytails that felt intentionally undone. The lengths
were slightly dishevelled, with natural separation and irregular texture giving the hair a relaxed,
almost accidental felling. Rather than appearing overly styled, the ponytails suggested hair gathered
quickly by hand, maintaining softness and feeling deliberate.

Marni
Marni presented hair with a strong middle parting, creating a clear, graphic structure at the front
while keeping the lengths natural and fluid. The hair remained slim and controlled without feeling
forced, falling neatly behind the shoulders with a polished, healthy finish.

Gucci
Gucci embraced a wider spectrum of characters, allowing hair to shift between glamour and
rawness. Some looks featured large, glamorous blow-dries with volume and movement, while others
leaned into more dishevelled, natural textures that felt spontaneous and lived-in. The contrast
between these approaches created a sense of individuality across the cast.
