Paris Fashion Week in Review (Hair trends)

Paris AW2026 brought a sharper, more controlled and elegant direction. Hair moved towards precision and
placement, whilst still soft and natural. It felt deliberate, structured, and restrained.

Chanel
At Chanel, hair was sleek, controlled, and mostly gathered into chignons, sitting alongside moments
of natural hair. The finish felt clean and effortless, close to the head with a quiet precision rather
than obvious product or force. Subtle flashes of iridescent texture caught the light throughout,
introducing an editorial shift.

Tom Ford
At Tom Ford, the look centred around a strong middle, or off center parting, with hair pushed back
using product to create a sleek, almost coated surface. Bleached hair ran throughout, worn both
with and without visible roots, adding contrast between polish and rawness. The finish felt
deliberate and controlled, with a subtle tension between refinement and exposure.

Saint Laurent
At Saint Laurent, hair was defined by a heavy side parting, pulled tightly into sleek chignons. The
finish was precise and directional, sitting close to the head with a high level of control. It felt strong,
almost military look.
